Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Posted on: January 21, 2008

Hello Everyone; Namaste:

I am beginning a new weblog that is open to the public. It will be based on my book: “Gospel of One; Letters of Aul.”  I am going through this book paragraph by paragraph on my other blog site:, but this blog will be more about how to put the gospel of oneness into everyday use and how the sense of the oneness of all life can put a new perspective on what is happening in our lives today. How do we make sense out of the war on terrorism, political campaigns, environmental problems, doing your daily job, being in a family, career goals, life goals, and relationships of all kinds.

First of all, what do I mean by “the oneness of all life?”  I believe that there is only one source of everything that is in our universe.  This source is infinite, eternal, omnipresent and omniscient. We may call this source God, Allah, Parabrahman, Tao, Prime Creator, or whatever other term people have used.  We are all part of the same Creator and thus are related.  We all have distinct identities, we are diverse, we are not the same, but we are connected in the oneness of life.  Whatever we do to others, we do to ourselves. However, most people of the world act as if we are separate beings.  The cruelty that some people inflict on others would never happen if they realized they were actually hurting themselves.  So this blog is dedicated to reminding people that we are all one life and ways we can make that realization practical in our everyday lives.

sincerely, Cliff Mikkelson, the oneness guy
